Puppy/Sales Contract

I, __________________________, do hereby sell this American Pit Bull Terrier puppy which is _______________________________ for the sum of ___________________ this the _________ day of ____________________ .  Pandora Kennels will allow buyer, at buyer’s expense, to have puppy checked out by a licensed veterinarian and will guarantee against genetic defects in puppy for 48 hours. Pandora Kennels will NOT guarantee against skin disorders, mange, or hip dysplasia as these can be common among American Pit Bull Terriers. Buyer must keep puppy dewormed and vaccinated. If a genetic defect is detected it must be verified through a signed letter from the vet that detected the defect (contact information for the vet must be present). The buyer of the puppy with genetic defects will have 3 options only: (1) The puppy can be kept by the buyer and Pandora Kennels will refund 50% of sum mentioned above to buyer  (2) The buyer can return puppy to Pandora Kennels and replace it with another puppy from the same litter (3) The buyer can return puppy to Pandora Kennels and use sum mentioned above as a deposit on a future litter. Pandora Kennels will NOT give full monetary refunds. Puppies that deposits have been placed on must be picked up by the time the puppy reaches 7 weeks old. Pandora Kennels reserves the right to sell puppy if the puppy is not picked up at 7 weeks without refunding any money to buyer. If customer picks up puppy after 7 weeks old, $5  per day will be added to remaining balance before customer can take possession of puppy.

·         Stay up-to-date on all vaccinations, deworming, and heartworm  your pit bulldog

·         If you own other animals socialize your pit bulldog as a puppy with other animals. Pit bulldogs are territorial by nature

·         NEVER leave a child unsupervised with a large breed dog even for a short period. Pit bulldogs are magnificent animals that are normally very gentle with children but RESPECT them at all times

·         NEVER use a pit bulldog for anything illegal such as dog fighting

·         Exercise or walk your pit bulldog on a daily basis and show it lots of affection. Pit bulldogs are very energetic and strive to please their owners

·         DO NOT chain or pen up your pit bulldog without allowing the dog to get daily exercise. Research has shown this can make pit bulldogs more aggressive

·         Spay or neuter your dog if you do not intend on using it for breeding. This helps to ensure having a healthier dog

·         American Pit Bull Terriers are special dogs that require attention from their owners so please be responsible dog owners. We have the right to refuse service to anyone. Contact Pandora Kennels if you ever have any questions and enjoy your American Pit Bull Terrier.
